Welcome to the week of high school basketball holiday tournaments.
Here’s a look at who’s playing and where:
Bristol Central has both its boys and girls teams participating, and all games in that tournament will be played in the Charles C. Marsh Gymnasium at BCHS. The Central boys face Eastern on Wednesday night at 7 o’clock in the last of four games. Here are the first three games Wednesday:
- Canton girls vs. Gilbert, 2:30
- Simsbury boys vs. Capital Prep, 4
- Platt at Bristol Central girls, 5:30
The consolation and championship games for both girls and boys are scheduled for Friday.
Wolcott hosts its annual John Rossi Memorial Tournament on Wednesday and Thursday. The Bristol Eastern girls take on Southington at 5 p.m. Wednesday, followed by the Wolcott and Watertown girls at 7 o’clock. The consolation and championship games are Thursday.The St. Paul girls travel to the Pomperaug Holiday Tournament on Wednesday and Friday. The Falcons play Wilton at 3 p.m., followed by the hosts from Pomperaug and Glastonbury at 5 o’clock. The consolation and championship games are Friday at 3 and 5 p.m.
