Waterbury’s Kyle Bonicki and Bristol’s Tommy Curtin both had solid seasons, and each player was rewarded for his effort.
Bonicki (Chase Collegiate), who played for the champion Nashua Silver Knights, was named to the Futures Collegiate Baseball League of New England’s First Team as its shortstop. Curtin (Bristol Eastern) closed for the Bristol Blues and earned a First Team nod.
Three Bristol Blues earned Second Team honors. They are Jake Frasca (Sacred Heart University), Chris Davis (Princeton University) and Jacob Wallace (University of Connecticut). Frasca was chosen as a utility player, Davis an outfielder and Wallace a pitch.
