Former Bristol Eastern standout Jagger Duquette has been having a good summer in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League.

Duquette, who attends Wagner College on Long Island, is a pitcher for the New Britain Bees. Duquette’s first half was good enough to be voted in as an all-star for the West team.

Duquette pitched 0.1 inning and walked a batter in a 10-2 loss to the East team on Tuesday night at New Britain Stadium.

Duquette was tied for the league lead in wins at four with New Britain teammate Bryson Cafaro of Ansonia, along with Croix Jenkins of the Worcester Bravehearts.

Duquette has appeared in 13 games and has posted a 4-1 record with a 2.21 ERA over 24.1 innings. He has yielded 11 hits, struck out 24 and walked eight.

At Wagner, Duquette appeared in five games in his sophomore season and was 0-2 with a 3.52 ERA. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 11 runs (only three earned) on 11 hits, struck out five and walked nine. The Seahawks struggled to an 11-25 record. Duquette played his freshman season at the University of Bridgeport, where he was 2-0 with a 3.55 ERA, 13 strikeouts and two walks over 12.2 innings.
