Matt Warren and Jordan Booker each had strong college careers, and both were recognized by their respective institutions on Monday.
Warren, a former Wolcott standout who played for Albertus Magnus College, was lauded in a Facebook post. Albertus Athletics said it is looking to point out its seniors with a series called #FearlessFalcon Feature.
Booker, a former Crosby standout who played for Dean College, was featured in a Twitter post on the Dean College men’s basketball account.
Here’s the post about Warren. Warren was asked questions like why he chose Albertus, what his favorite memory was, and what the greatest lesson he learned was. Warren appeared in 104 games and had a career slash line of .330/.413/.606. He tallied 109 hits, including 26 doubles, 13 triples and 13 home runs, to go along with 114 RBI and 74 runs scored. Warren was a two-time first-team all-conference selection.
Here’s the post about Booker. Booker talked about playing for the coaching staff and the support he received from the student body and faculty. Booker averaged 25.6 points, 6.9 assists and 2.64 steals per game as a senior, all of which ranked him in the Top 10 nationally in Division III.
