Bristol Central, Bristol Eastern football get new non-conference opponents in 2019

The Central Connecticut Conference has partnered up with the Connecticut High School Football Alliance for the 2019 season. That means new non-conference opponents for Bristol Central and Bristol Eastern.

Southern Connecticut Conference commissioner Al Carbone announced the schedule for the alliance, which consists of teams from the CCC, SCC, Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference, Eastern Connecticut Conference, and South-West Conference. Central and Eastern will both play their alliance games in Week 3 (Sept. 27). The Rams travel to SWC foe Masuk while the Lancers host SWC foe Pomperaug.
