Bristol Eastern girls swimming and diving put together a strong effort in the CCC South Division championship meet.
The Lancers already had a winner going into the swimming portion of the meet after Emily Mulcunry finished first in diving. Brianna Ogonowski, Taylor DeMarest, Chelsea DeMarest and Julia Michaud joined Mulcunry in earning All-CCC South Division honors. On top of the all-conference efforts, there were 30 season-best times and state qualifiers to boot.
Next up for Bristol Eastern is Class M diving next Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at Bulkeley High School in Hartford. The Class M trials are Nov. 10 at 5:55 p.m. at East Hartford High School, and the finals are Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. at Wesleyan University in Middletown.
