Two area swimmers and two divers qualified for the State Open.
Diving is tonight at 6 o’clock at Middletown High School. Swimming will take place on Saturday starting at 5 p.m. at Kiphuth Exhibition Pool on the campus of Yale University in New Haven.
Bristol Eastern senior Zoe DiChello and Sacred Heart senior Alexa Gallino will compete in diving. DiChello is seeded 15th while Gallino is 24th.
In swimming, Holy Cross senior Madelynn Mowad is seeded sixth in the 200-yard IM and 10th in the 100 breaststroke. Bristol Eastern junior Brianna Ogonowski is 12th in the 100 breaststroke.
