When the Futures League Prospect Team faces Team USA’s Collegiate National Team, Tommy Curtin will be there.
The Bristol Blues closer and former Bristol Eastern standout was chosen as one of the pitchers to represent the FCBL in the game. The game will be played on July 11 at Hanover Insurance Park in Worcester, Mass., at 7:05 p.m.
“This is a great opportunity for not only the league, but for each player who (has) been selected to play against the top players in the nation, in front of a crowd of Major League scouts,” commissioner Chris Hall said in a release on the FCBL website.
Curtin will be one of those players.
