Ali Tellier had a banner day for the Bristol Eastern softball team on Thursday at St. Paul.
The junior hurler tossed a five-inning no-hitter for the Lancers in their 16-0 victory over the Falcons. Tellier struck out eight during her memorable day in the circle. Tellier was also solid at the plate, where she went 2-for-3.
Tellier got plenty of offensive support from Jasmine Perez, Janessa Gonzalez, Sam Policki, Alex Shorette and Ashley Serafin. Perez went 3-for-3 with three RBI while Gonzalez was 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI. Policki, Shorette and Serafin also put together multi-hit days for Eastern, which had 15 for the game.
The Lancers (11-5) conclude a busy week today with a doubleheader at Plainville. First pitch for the first game is 4 p.m. and an estimated 6:30 p.m. for the second game. Eastern closes out the regular season next Monday at Bristol Central.
