Five Bristol varsity teams played soccer on Tuesday, and all five came away with victories.
The Mum City’s representatives had a flood day, and here’s more about it:
Bristol Eastern girls 2, Rocky Hill 1, OT
Two goals from Myah Croze and a tremendous all-around team effort meshed into a Lancer victory over the Terriers at home.
Sara Tyminski and Leah Policarpio had the assists on the Croze goals. Hannah Richards did well in goal for Eastern.
It was more than just those four players for Eastern.
“Great play all over the field!!” head coach Scott Redman tweeted.
Redman said he had six girls rotating in to help on defense. Richards was solid in goal all afternoon for the Lancers.
Eastern improved to 5-3-1 with the win.
Bristol Eastern boys 1, Rocky Hill 0
The Lancers kept their good vibes from the Central win at Muzzy going with a narrow win on the road over the Terriers.
Chris LeBeau tallied the only goal late in the second half off a rebound. Goalkeeper Tom Tefoe and the Eastern defense kept Rocky Hill off the scoreboard and secured a second straight win for the Lancers.
Eastern upped its record to 3-4-1.
Bristol Central girls 2, Platt 0
Goals from Alyson Policarpio and Adalia Malick provided the offense for a Ram win at home over the Panthers.
It was a big win for Central, which snapped a two-match losing streak. The Rams also crept back over .500 with a record of 5-4.
Bristol Central boys 1, Platt 0
The Rams got a goal from Mike Lemke, and that turned out to be all they needed in the road win over the Panthers.
Central bounced back from its loss to Eastern at Muzzy and improved to 3-4-2.

The Falcon girls were also one of four Bristol teams to win a match by a single goal.
