Bristol Central football came up with a big 28-21 road win over Wethersfield last Friday night at Cottone Field on the campus of Wethersfield High School.
After playing on a turf field in Wethersfield, the Rams got to practice on one on Monday.
There’s a big difference though.
This turf field is in Bristol Central’s backyard, just down the driveway that leads out onto Crown Street from the high school’s property.

This will not just be for BC football, of course. The soccer and lacrosse teams will also get to use the turf and enjoy it. Bristol Eastern’s teams will soon have a new synthetic turf field to call their own.
After a long journey from planning to construction, the turf field at Bristol Central is ready.
