There are certain individual milestones that stick out in high school sports.
In basketball, it’s scoring the 1,000th point in a career. In swimming, it can be something like shattering school records.
For a wrestler, 100 career wins is a great plateau to ascend to, and Bristol Eastern senior Zac Thompson did just that on Wednesday at home against Plainville. Thompson secured his 100th career win in a 66-9 Lancer trouncing of the Blue Devils.
Thompson was recognized by his athletic director John Stavens on Twitter for his accomplishment.
The fun part? Thompson still has the rest of his senior season left, which means that win total will only increase for the two-time All-CCC South performer.
