The St. Paul Catholic girls soccer team won its seventh straight match this evening, continuing what has been a great season.
The Falcons defeated Torrington 6-2 on the road. With the win, St. Paul improved to 10-3-2 with one regular season match left. That match is Senior Night, Wednesday at 6 o’clock against Wolcott (10-1-4).
A post on the “SP Girls Soccer” Twitter account read like this:
This win makes it the best regular season record that St. Paul girls soccer have ever had.
How historic a season is this for the St. Paul girls? The Falcons are in the running for a good seed in the upcoming NVL and Class S state tournaments, and they have been in the thick of the NVL Brass Division race. St. Paul has had a great season — historic even — and it’s not over.
