Wolcott boys tennis made it a trifecta this week in NVL competition.
The Eagles finished off a team title last week, but they weren’t done by a long stretch. Wolcott No. 1 singles player Matt Spina claimed the top spot in the individual championship while Jackson Yost and Alex Hale combined for the doubles title.
It has been a sensational run for the Eagles, who find out who they play in the Class M state tournament when pairings are announced Friday.
BOYS LACROSSE
Wolcott has qualified for the Class M state tournament in its inaugural varsity season. The Eagles are seeded 14th and will host No. 19 Guilford on Saturday at 1 p.m. Wolcott finished with a 8-5 regular season record.
STATE TOURNAMENT
Pairings for baseball, softball, boys tennis and girls tennis will be announced on Friday. You can find the pairings for each sport here.
