When it comes to college football, three members of the Pawlak family of Wolcott have a unique bond.
Colin, Sean and Quinn Pawlak are all involved with the Western Connecticut State University football team.
After playing for the Wolves and serving as a volunteer coach, Colin Pawlak was named as an assistant coach for this season, which begins this coming Friday. He’s coaching the defensive backs. Colin graduated in 2022 after playing defensive back from 2018-22. He was a volunteer coach who worked with the secondary in 2023. Colin is working on his master’s degree in secondary education.
Sean Pawlak is a junior linebacker majoring in justice and law administration. Sean didn’t play as a sophomore for the Wolves. He is listed at 5-foot-11, 215 pounds.
Quinn Pawlak is a freshman outside linebacker for WCSU. He is listed at 6-foot-2, 198 pounds.
Football runs through the blood of the Pawlak boys. All five, which also includes Ryan and Justin, played high school football at Wolcott. Their father, Jim Pawlak, coached at Wolcott. Ryan Pawlak played collegiately at Curry College.
