Western Connecticut State junior forward Tre’Von Perry put together a solid effort in a 76-78 win for the Colonials against Southern Maine on Saturday.
Perry played 35 minutes and recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Six of Perry’s rebounds came on the offensive end, and he also had two blocks and an assist in the contest.
WCSU improved to 6-3 with the win. For the season, Perry is averaging 28 minutes, 7.1 points, 6.0 rebounds (second on the team) and a team-high 1.6 blocks per game.
The Colonials take a long Christmas break before returning to the court with a game ion Tuesday, Dec. 29, at Lehman College in the Bronx as part of the Coaches vs. Cancer Tournament. The game is scheduled for 6 p.m.
