The Wolcott baseball team had two suspended games to complete entering Thursday.

Each of the two games were suspended due to darkness. The Eagles were able to complete one of those suspended games on Thursday at Oxford. Wolcott needed to play one inning, the eighth, and it scored three runs in its half. The Eagles held on for a 15-12 win and improved to 5-0 on the season.

The first three runners reached base for Wolcott in the top of the eighth inning. The next batter lined out, but Oxford threw the ball away trying to double up the runner on third base. James Larkin and Joe Dunne scored on the play for a 14-12 lead. A wild pitch brought home Nick Sconziano for a 15-12 advantage.

In the bottom of the eighth, Drew Rocca worked around a two-out walk to close out the victory.

Wolcott is home against Woodland on Friday at 1 p.m.
