Bristol Eastern football got back to .500 (3-3) on Thursday night with a 38-18 road win over East Catholic in Manchester.
Alex Marshall was up to the task again running the ball, scoring four rushing touchdowns for the Lancers. Marshall scored on runs of 2, 44, 11 and 7 yards. Rayshon Andrews can’t be forgotten, as it was his 65-yard touchdown run on the first play of the third quarter that extended Eastern’s lead to 24-10. Josh Aubin wrapped up the scoring for the Lancers with a one-yard plunge in the fourth quarter.
Eastern led, 6-0, after one quarter, then built an 18-3 lead before a late East Catholic score made it 18-10 at halftime. Andrews went all the way on the first play of the second half, and the Lancers rolled from there, leading by 28 points before the Eagles picked up their final touchdown late in the fourth quarter.
