You know about Lawton’s five-inning perfect game, the first in the history of the Bucs softball program.

Lawton threw her perfect game in an 8-0 home win over Polk State on March 28, retiring all 15 batters that she faced. She pitched four innings of two-hit ball in a 9-0 win over St. Petersburg College on Tuesday in the first game of a doubleheader.
Two days before the perfect game, Lawton tossed a scoreless, hitless inning in a 14-1 win over South Florida State College in the second game of a doubleheader. She struck out two in that frame.
