TRACK ROUNDUP: EJ Williams impresses again with record effort

Sacred Heart senior indoor track standout EJ Williams continues to impress during his assault on different meet record books.

When the 55m hurdle meet record for the SCC Coaches Invitational is updated, the only thing that will need to be changed is the time. Williams already owned the meet record, which he set in 2018. On Saturday, Williams ran the race in 7:47 seconds, 0.14 faster than his 2018 time of 7.61. Williams beat his closest competition, Amity Regional senior Richard Papa, by 0.32. Edwards also finished third in the 300m dash (36.39).
