Redzepagic’s career night leads to Wolcott home win

As far as big scoring nights go, it didn’t get any better on Friday night than what happened at Wolcott High School when the boys hosted Seymour.

Senior Elmin Redzepagic erupted for 40 points in an 81-66 Eagle victory over the Wildcats inside the John Morris Gymnasium. The 40 points are a career-high for Redzepagic. The 6-foot-4 swingman connected on 12 two-point field goals, five 3-pointers and one foul shot to reach 40 points.

Jack Drewry (12 point) and Chris Harris (11) also hit double figures for Wolcott, which improved to 5-1 on the season. The only Eagle loss was against Greenwich in the championship game of the Bristol Central Holiday Tournament over Christmas break.
