Sacred Heart senior EJ Williams is fast. Really fast.
As the preliminaries of the 55m hurdles gave way to the semifinals, then the championship race at the 37th Yale Interscholastic Track Classic on Saturday, Williams kept dropping time. He ran the championship race in 7.39 seconds and captured the title for the second straight year. Williams won the championship in 7.51 last year, but he wasn’t far off of that time in the semifinal round this year (7.56). Williams finished the preliminary round in 7.65.
