Myah Croze kicks her way into top spot in Bristol Eastern girls soccer record book

Myah Croze has seemingly been a threat to put a soccer ball into the net since she stepped foot onto the pitch at Bristol Eastern High School.

On Wednesday, Croze became the all-time leading scorer in the Lancer girls soccer program with her 43rd career goal. She surpassed Christi Carone, who had the previous record of 42. Croze scored the goal in a 5-4 loss at Enfield.

Croze has been an all-conference player in each of her first three seasons at Bristol Eastern. The senior captain has become accustomed to scoring big goals for the Lancers.

Croze scored a goal as a freshman in a 2015 Class L state tournament game against East Haven.

In 2016, Eastern beat Rocky Hill 2-1 in overtime in a regular season matchup. Want to take a guess who scored both goals? Croze.

When the Lancers played against their rivals from Central on Oct. 2, 2017, Croze put together a hat trick in a 5-2 win.

In a Class L first round road game last season, Croze had four goals and two assists in a 6-0 Lancer victory. She was part of all six goals scored in the game. Wow.

Croze has the record, and now she will look to help get Eastern (0-4-2) back on the right track.
