B.J. Monteiro isn’t the only former Brass City basketball star dealing with injuries during a professional season.
The same goes for former Holy Cross, Marianapolis Prep and Southern Connecticut State University standout Michael Mallory. Unfortunately for Mallory, the injury bug bit him during his rookie season with KK Blokotehna-NB of the Macedonian First League and Balkan International Basketball League.
Mallory played in seven games in the Balkan League and made one start before injury sidelined him. He had been playing pretty well for Blokotehna, averaging 11 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 20.7 minutes per game.
Here’s hoping Mallory gets back on the floor some time soon.
