Eastern wrestling wins Bristol Central Invitational in convincing fashion

Bristol Eastern wrestling scored a dominant victory in Saturday’s Bristol Central Invitational.
The Lancers scored 286 points and was well ahead of second place Mohonasen of New York, which had 126.
Mason Lishness (98 pounds — exhibition), Bryce Beebe (106), Diego Fernandez (145), Mikey Barrett (160) and Trinidad Gonzalez (195) claimed first place finishes. Jordon Champagne (113), Gabe Soucy (132) and Justin Marshall (152) all finished second place individually. Third place finishes came from Tom Nichols (120), Carson Sassu (126) and Andrew Cercone (285). Trent Thompson (106), Noah Corliss (120) and Tyler King (145) all took fourth place. Keegan Bartis (182) was a fifth place finisher while Noah Piazza (138), Dylan Levesque (170) and Hidekel Mangual (220) all finished sixth.
Bristol Central took 10th place with 78.5 points. Chris Trelli was named the most outstanding wrestler of the invitational after winning at 120. Mike Guzman took fourth place at 220 while Jake Aldi (106), Jason Feto (126) and Caleb Buden (152) all claimed fifth place.
