Holy Cross football delighted the home crowd at Alumni Field on Saturday with a 20-14 victory over Waterbury Career Academy.
The Crusaders claimed the lead and the victory when quarterback Corey Fappiano threw a touchdown pass to wide receiver DeAndre Wallace. Here’s video of the winning combination via Holy Cross football’s Twitter account.

After a tough start to the season (forfeit loss to Kennedy, 36-33 home loss to St. Paul), the Crusaders improved to 2-2 with the victory. WCA is also 2-2 on the season.
