Jaeden Rasmus and some of his Bristol Post 2 teammates had one final American Legion game to play.
Bristol and the rest of Zone 1 took on Zone 8 in an all-star game on Monday at Simsbury’s Memorial Field. Rasmus came to the plate with the bases loaded in his first at bat. After taking the first pitch, Rasmus blasted the next offering down the left field line and over the fence for a grand slam. Rasmus rounded the bases, stepped on home plate, and then was congratulated by his teammates. Two of those teammates who could be seen congratulating Rasmus in the video were Bristol’s Chadd Richardson and Ben Mazzone.
