WEEK 7 FOOTBALL STATS: Bristol Central finds success through the air in tough loss to Maloney

Bristol Central football has been known for years as a running team.
Sure there were the years of Matt Coyne and Aaron Hernandez, but the Rams have featured more of a running attack.
Last Friday, Central went to the air more in a 34-27 loss to Maloney at Muzzy Field.
Isaiah Miller was 10-of-22 for 210 yards and two touchdown passes, one apiece to Connor Staubley and Justus Fitzpatrick. The Staubley connection was for 59 yards while the Fitzpatrick one went for 54 yards.
Miller ran for two scores as well, with his last one knotting the game at 27 in the third quarter. Unfortunately for Miller and the Rams, they didn’t have enough to get past the Spartans.

Bristol Eastern
It has been a tough year for the Lancers, who lost 27-7 to Newington to fall to 0-6 on the season.
Eastern was tied at 7 with the hosts, but the Indians ripped off 20 straight points to pull away.
