Kaynor Tech will debut its new indoor track team during the winter season.
The announcement of the new team was made Friday via the Kaynor Tech athletics Twitter account. Boys and girls are eligible to participate on the team.
Indoor track becomes the third winter sport at Kaynor Tech. The other two sports are boys basketball and girls basketball.
All-Conference
On Tuesday, Kaynor Tech announced its All-Constitution State Conference athletes for the 2015 fall season. Senior Ruben Martinez and sophomore Pierce Blum made it for boys soccer while junior Roza Pine was picked for volleyball. For cross country, senior Lauren Duggan made the all-league team, as did junior Cassie Couture, junior Jillian Ducham, freshman Hannah Stoveken and freshman Tyler Roger.
The girls cross country team won the CSC championship while both the boys soccer and girls volleyball squads made the state tournament.
