Wolcott High School’s fall sports teams are counting down the final days until their regular seasons begin.
Varsity girls soccer, girls volleyball and football all begin play on Friday, Sept. 11. The girls soccer team hosts Seymour at 3:30 p.m. on the turf of Joe Monroe Field. Girls volleyball travels to Waterbury for a 5 p.m. match against Wilby.
In the last event of the night, football hosts Wilby at 7 p.m. at Monroe Field.
Boys soccer begins its season on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Seymour.
Boys and girls cross country get going on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at Veterans Park in Watertown. The Eagles are scheduled to go up against Watertown, Sacred Heart and Seymour.
Swimming (with Naugatuck) starts up on Sept. 15 at 4 p.m. at Naugatuck High School against Kennedy.
