What happened: The former Wilby star struggled at Idaho on Thursday, but rebounded in a big way in an overtime win at Eastern Washington on Saturday.
Wright made several clutch free throws, including the tying and go-ahead shots in overtime. He finished the game with 19 points in 30 minutes and was 5-of-6 from the free throw line. The Idaho game wasn’t a good one for Wright, but the senior bounced back when the Griz needed him against Eastern Washington.
What’s up next: Two home games against Northern Colorado (Thursday) and North Dakota (Saturday).

Mustapha Heron, Auburn
What happened: The former Sacred Heart star became the first Tiger to score 10 points or more in the first 15 games of his career.
Heron broke a record held for more than a quarter-century by former Auburn great Wesley Person in an 88-85 Tiger loss to Ole Miss on Saturday. Heron scored 20 points on 6-of-12 shooting, including 3-of-5 beyond the arc. He was also 5-of-5 at the foul line, making him 12-of-12 over the past two games.
Heron had 13 points in 80-61 road loss to Vanderbilt on Wednesday night, but struggled from the floor.
What’s up next: At Missouri on Tuesday, then a showdown Saturday at ultra-talented Kentucky.
Khadaijia Brooks, Marshall

What happened: Brooks was a doube-double waiting to happen while starring at Bristol Eastern, and she did it again in a 93-77 Herd loss at Charlotte on Saturday.
Brooks scored 12 points and yanked down a team-high 10 rebounds. It’s not the first time she has gone into double figures in rebounds. After 15 games, Brooks is tied for the team lead in total rebounds with 111 and rebounds per game at 7.4
In a 73-69 loss at Old Dominion on Thursday, Brooks led her team with six rebounds. Brooks started, played 32 minutes and scored eight points on 4-of-8 shooting. Brooks also had two steals in the contest.

Tyrn Flowers, UMass
What happened: The lefty from Sacred Heart played 20 minutes off the bench for the Minutemen in an 86-81 loss at George Mason on Wednesday night. Flowers made 2-of-5 three-point attempts (2-of-6 overall from the field) and finished with six points. He had a season-high three blocks to go along with two rebounds.
Flowers played 18 minutes off the bench in a 81-64 loss at VCU on Saturday. He tallied seven points (2-of-6 FG, 1-of-4 3-point, 2-of-2 FT) and three rebounds.
What’s up next: Dayton at home on Wednesday, at Rhode Island on Sunday.
