Sacred Heart boys basketball hasn’t lost an NVL game since Barack Obama was President of the United States. The Hearts defeated the Kennedy Eagles 98-50 on Tuesday night at Alumni Hall.
Sacred Heart improved to 17-1 on the season, and it won its 100th straight game against NVL foes. Jamaal Waters had 31 points, Omar Rowe scored 27 points, and Nate Tabor added 10 points in the victory. Nyron Drunnamanio also had a good game, nearing tallying a double-double. Rowe canned seven 3-pointers on the night.
Sacred Heart has two more regular season games against NVL foes, at Holy Cross on Friday and home against Torrington next Tuesday.
