The University of Saint Joseph women’s basketball program has a new leader in all-time rebounds, and she was once a standout for Bristol Eastern.
Jordan Ouellette, a 5-foot-8 forward and graduate student, broke the previous mark of 781 held by Edna Caamano (2002-06) with her fourth and final rebound of Sunday’s 73-65 loss to Williams College in West Hartford. Ouellette tied for the game-high of 26 points with Williams’ Arianna Gerig. Both teams are 12-7 after Sunday’s game.
For the season, Ouellette has started all 19 games and is averaging 18.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 0.5 blocks.
