Crowley helps Pace football earn win in his return to home state

Former Bristol Eastern football standout Nick Crowley enjoyed a successful return to his home state last weekend.

Pace University squeaked past Post University, 23-21, at Municipal Stadium. Crowley is in his first season as the defensive line coach for the Setters, who picked up their first victory of the season (1-2). Before Pace, Crowley was the defensive line coach at Western Connecticut State University.

Crowley had plenty to be proud of from his defensive line. The unit totaled seven tackles for loss against Post. Defensive lineman Jordan Clanton had seven tackles for Pace, including a half for a loss. Fellow lineman Jayson Chavous recorded five tackles, including a half for a loss.
