Former Bristol Eastern, St. Paul and Taft standout Tyler Arbuckle has been playing well for his Saint Anselm College men’s basketball team.
Arbuckle was recognized for his efforts when the Northeast-10 Conference named him its player of the week on Monday. The senior left-hander averaged 20 points over two games and was an efficient 13 of 22 from the floor.Arbuckle is averaging 17.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 36.2 minutes per game. He is shooting 49.5% from the floor. Arbuckle is an efficient 44% on his three-point attempts.Arbuckle ranks second in the conference in scoring and sixth in three-point percentage.
Arbuckle is just 21 points away from 1,000 for his career. Saint Anselm plays Southern Connecticut State University on Saturday.
