Bristol Central football remains perfect with home hammering of E.O. Smith

The Bristol Central football team remained undefeated with a 41-7 hammering of E.O. Smith-Storrs on Friday night at Bristol Central High School.

The Rams (5-0) ran for nearly 400 yards with both Jack Hartley and Jayden Glasper eclipsing 100 yards, and Donovan Rodriguez wasn’t far off the century mark himself. Hartley ran for a pair of touchdowns while Rodriguez, Glasper and Malikia Holley tallied a rushing score apiece. Rodriguez also threw a touchdown to his favorite target, Quincy Lawson as Central led, 27-0, at halftime before ending the third quarter with a 41-0 advantage.

This Friday brings a major challenge when undefeated Newington (also 5-0) visits Bristol Central for a 6 p.m. kickoff. The Nor’easters are coming off a 28-0 win over Bristol Eastern (3-2) on Thursday at home.
