Duquette had a great summer with Bees

Former Bristol Eastern standout right-hander Jagger Duquette put together a strong summer with the New Britain Bees of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League.

Duquette, who will be a junior at Wagner College, appeared in a team-high 19 games for New Britain. The Bees finished last in the FCBL with a 25-39 record, but Duquette was one of the team’s players selected for the FCBL All-Star Game, which was held on July 13 at New Britain Stadium.

Duquette went 4-1 with a 1.75 ERA over 36 innings. He struck out 35, walked 12 and gave up 11 runs (7 earned) on 20 hits. Here were the top performances, and other items, from Duquette’s summer:
