June 15, 2016: On this date, Wolcott baseball was enjoying a breakfast of champions at LaFortuna Restaurant. St. Paul was honored at a Bristol Blues game.
That’s what happens when you win a state championship. The euphoria from the previous Friday’s state championship win made breakfast taste even better for the Eagles. For the Falcons, their championship-winning effort was recognized in a state baseball cathedral, Muzzy Field. It doesn’t get much better than that.
