St. Paul football closes out season with loss at Oxford

The St. Paul football team ended its season with a 35-22 Thanksgiving Eve loss to Oxford at Wolverine Stadium on the campus of Oxford High School.
The Falcons finished the 2016 season with a 6-4 record. St. Paul’s touchdowns were scored by Kevin Ashworth, Chris Dionne and Damien Rabis. The Falcons got to within 27-22 before the Wolverines scored a final touchdown to put the game on ice.
It was the final game for St. Paul seniors Dan Spatafore Jr., Eric Passeck, Evan Kulig, Jordan Silva (captain), Pierce Piana, Zach Parent (captain), Alec Zukauskas (captain), Matt Gray, David Lyder and Jeremy Adams.
The Falcons posted their third straight season of five or more wins.
