Bristol will have 19U, 17U teams in new Connecticut Elite Baseball Association

The Connecticut Elite Baseball Association, LLC (CTEBA) is looking to provide a place to play this summer, and Bristol will be involved.

There will be no American Legion baseball after national, state and local organizations decided not to play due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The CTEBA, an independent league formed by zone officials, will have over 85 teams between the 19U and 17U levels, and that will include Bristol.

Any families who have a player interested in playing for Bristol should contact coach Jerry LaPenta for 19U (860-995-6296) or Bill Mason for 17U (203-885-3842) for more information. Parents and players will be required to complete registration and waiver forms in advance of tryouts, according to a news release from Paul LaFleur. New players will be required to present original birth certificates before tryouts. Tryouts will be announced soon.
