The cold air that greeted me when I took my dog outside today is fitting. On this date two years ago, I covered a Bristol Eastern softball game vs. Berlin at Bristol Eastern High School.
It was another cold, gray April day at the softball diamond on King Street in Bristol. A Young Lancers team improved to 4-1 with a convincing 9-0 victory over the Redcoats. Eastern’s seven-run fourth inning blew the game wide open.
