Terryville Black Sox right-hander Kody Kerski owned the mound in Tuesday evening’s Connecticut Tri-State Baseball League game against the Burlington Hunters at the Old Terryville High School.
Kerski also owned the Hunters. The former Crosby and Sacred Heart University standout and minor league pitcher tossed a no-hitter for the Black Sox in a 4-0 victory. Kerski struck out 12 and walked on in his masterful performance. He also had an RBI single.
Kyle Tehan supported Kerski with two hits, and Kyle Skidmore added a double. Terryville improved to 6-0 with the victory. The Black Sox have a big game in Litchfield on Saturday against the Tri-Town Trojans at Community Field at 10 a.m. Tri-Town is 6-0 with a game Thursday at the Southington 66ers.
