St. Paul girls basketball once again played without sophomore standout Janessa Gonzalez when it took on Derby on Tuesday night.
The first game without Gonzalez didn’t go well as the Falcons were blown out by Seymour. On Tuesday night, Gonzalez again didn’t play, but a pair of St. Paul players stepped up in a 58-32 rout of Derby.
Sophomore Jade Udoh scored a game-high 23 points and junior Emma Cretella had 13 points for the Falcons. Morgan Kolb (7 points) and Aidrianna Lopez (6 points) also contributed on the offensive end for St. Paul, which improved to 11-2.
The Falcons host a tough Wolcott team on Friday night at 7 o’clock.
