The start of the high school wrestling regular season is nearly two months away, yet Bristol Central senior Chris Trelli is already earning accolades.
Wrestling USA Magazine has rated Trelli the top wrestler in the country at 106 pounds. WIN Magazine (Wrestling Insider News) puts Trelli at No. 10 on its list of 106-pound grapplers.

In July, Trelli was the runner-up at 106 in the Junior National freestyle tournament held in Fargo, N.D. During that great run, the Central captain took down three returning place-winners on his way to the final.
