Yesterday, I wrote a Minor League Baseball post that included former Bristol Eastern star Kevin Rivers.
Well, he’s done something in the last day-plus to warrant another one.
Rivers hit a two-run home run in two straight games for the York Revolution against the Bridgeport Bluefish. The home runs, hit last night and today, are the third and the fourth of the season for Rivers between York and the New Britain Bees. They doubled his home run total from what he had going into Saturday’s game.
The Revolution are 7-3 in their last 10 games, and Rivers can only help them continue to be successful.
