A fall of transition for Bristol high school soccer

It’s going to be an interesting season for high school soccer at Bristol Central and Bristol Eastern.

Scott Redman will not be wearing maroon this fall. He has taken over for
Roland Loranger as head coach of the Bristol Eastern girls soccer team.

Scott Redman, who succeeded Tony Carrier as head coach of Bristol Central girls soccer, takes over for Roland Loranger at Bristol Eastern this fall. Loranger stepped down in April. It was always an interesting split for Redman, who coached softball at his Alma mater in the spring before going across town in the fall to coach the Central girls soccer team. Now the Eastern physical education teacher will do all of his coaching with the Lancers.
Ginny Godbout, who was Redman’s assistant, is listed as the new head coach of the Central girls soccer team under CIAC member school information for Bristol Central.  Nate Jandreau, another Redman assistant, was approved as the Central boys soccer coach on June 1.
