Another tournament, another win for the Bristol Central wrestling team.
This time, the Rams picked up a victory at the Frank Chaves Invitational, hosted by Simsbury High School on Monday. The Chaves event usually brings together some solid competition, so this is another feather in the cap for Central.
“Frank Chaves Invitational team champions!” read a post on the team’s Twitter account earlier this afternoon.
Blake Holder and Noah Cruz finished first in their individual weight classes. Nine other Central wrestlers placed in the top 3, giving the Rams a total of 11 top 3 finishers overall, a terrific total for one team.
Central hosts the Bristol Central Invitational on Saturday.
