Davis finishes up great junior year

Final exams for undergraduate students conclude today at Assumption University. It is the end of what has been a solid year in the classroom and on the pitch for junior Addison Davis, a former St. Paul soccer standout. Davis is equal parts student and athlete.

During the fall soccer season, Davis earned first team All-Northeast-10 honors while being a key player on defensive back line for Assumption. Davis, known for her speed in high school and college, used it to turn defense into counterattack opportunities on offense. She earned a spot on the Northeast-10 All-Championship Team for her efforts during the conference tournament. The Greyhounds lost to SCSU in a shootout in the semifinal round. Davis earned second team All-East Region accolades from United Soccer Coaches.

Off the pitch, Davis is terrific with a 3.8 GPA while majoring in Math and minoring in Engineering. For those efforts, Davis earned fall academic all-conference honors.

Assumption hopes to finish the job in the Northeast-10 tournament this coming fall and earn an NCAA bid. Davis will do her best on the defensive end to help the Greyhounds achieve that goal.
