It’s not often that three players on the same team score 20 or more points in a high school basketball game.
That happened for the Holy Cross boys basketball team in its 90-48 home win over Wolcott on Wednesday night inside the Tim McDonald Gymnasium. The Crusaders improved to 5-1 and have won four straight games since losing to Crosby.
Nate Muniz erupted for a career-high 38 points in the Holy Cross win over Wolcott. Derone Fordham tallied 21 points while Ashton Sannasi added 20 points. The Crusaders are scheduled to host Newington in a non-league game Saturday at 6 p.m.
