Bristol Knights win pitchers’ duel in walk-off fashion

The Bristol Knights battled the Glastonbury Pirates through 8 1/2 scoreless innings during Monday night’s Connecticut Twilight League baseball game at Muzzy Field.

In the bottom of the ninth inning, former Bristol Central outfielder Kyle Pileski got a rally going with a hit. Later in the inning, former Conard High School (West Hartford) standout Colby Jones dropped a single into right field. Pileski came racing around and slid in ahead of the tag and secure the 1-0 walk-off victory. (The video is from the Instagram account of the Bristol Knights)
